# Criminal Roleplay

### Kidnapping

Hostages cannot be held longer than 15 min unless the scenario progresses and all parties involved are pleased with the scenario.

You can’t kidnap or rob the same player repeatedly, this can be classified as griefing. If kidnap someone then you cannot rob them.

Hostages must not be a willing participant for hostage takers. Hostages must be found randomly and not a friend willing to be a hostage for a crime. If caught, all players will be subject to punishment.

It is forbidden to call a job (wagon coach, law, doctor, train driver, etc.) with the sole intent to kidnap the member who goes to the place of call.

It is totally forbidden to kidnap on duty doctors and brand new players to state.

If you kidnap someone you cannot down them then take them to a doctor to be picked back up and repeat this process to get what you want. This is NOT allowed and will result in a ban!

### Ghost Robbing

If you rob a store, bank or fort you MUST wait 5 minutes after you finished robbing for law to show up. If law don't arrive within that time period then you may leave.

If you leave before then you will be given a 24 hour ban.

Points 10

### Robbery Farming

You are not allowed to mass rob stores, banks etc. This is deemed as putting [money over roleplay](broken://pages/lVcYWMJIB6hT8dU4SWDL#money-over-roleplay) and isn't realistic as criminals would wait for the heat to die down.

You must wait a minimum of 30 minutes between robberies even if the cooldown for the robbery has been reached. This applies to everyone involved in the scene.

{% hint style="info" %}
All cooldowns are applied both to characters and to the gang/group
{% endhint %}

* Chain Player Robberies are not allowed and your gang/group must observe a cool down period of 1 hour.
* Chain Store Robberies are not allowed and your gang/group must observe a cool down period of 2 hours.
* Chain Wagon Robberies are not allowed and your gang/group must observe a cool down period of 3 hours.
* Chain Fort Robberies are not allowed and your gang/group must observe a cool down period of 6 hours.
* Chain Train Robberies are not allowed and your gang/group must observe a cool down period of 6 hours.
* Chain Bank Robberies are not allowed and your gang/group must observe a cool down period of 6 hours.
* Each player may only be involved in breaking someone else out of custody every 1 OOC day. The prisoner being broken out is not affected by this cooldown. The cooldown begins when the jailbreak is initiated, regardless of the final outcome. (You may not attempt to jailbreak someone with a different character during this cooldown window)

### Robberies

**Stores & Banks**

During robberies of stores, banks and other businesses, it is important that a negotiation scene is engaged between the outlaws and the law. If the negotiations are dropped due to no hostages then the law will breach. You are not allowed to have a fake hostage! When doing a robbery, only the outlaws who originally set up the job can be involved. No outside help can come at any time, this includes a wagon chase or a shootout.

Pets are not allowed to be used in any robberies that includes but not limited to being used as a hostage or being a accomplice. Pets are a novelty item.

**Players**

Players can only be robbed of the belongings or money not both.

You can't rob:

* Bank Accounts
* Weapons
* All food and water (some must be left for the victim)

NO POCKET WIPES: Players cannot steal every item from a single players pocket, items must make sense for the RP.

Do not camp job sites to steal from other players pockets (ie material theft, but kidnapping is fine).

{% hint style="info" %}
Robberies should create engaging roleplay not just loot hunting.

### Third (3rd) Party Rule

Third partying means when two groups are fighting then a third group or individual comes along and uses the situation to gain either a drop on one of both groups fighting or to steal from already injured players. E.g. Their could be a war between two gangs or a group of criminals against the law. No one should be coming into one of those scenes to take advantage of gaining something

3rd parting is only justified in gang related situations, if gang A is in war with gang B, gang A can counter rob gang B whilst in an active crime before law are active on scene, other than that 3rd parting is not acceptable.

### Five Person

Criminal activities are limited to 5 players max at a time. Relaying information to or between characters (lookouts, telegram communications) counts you as part of that scenario.

The five person rule also extends to social or non-crime related gatherings. We urge you to not spend time in a large group for more time than is necessary. Scenarios such as planned parties, business meetings/transactions, gang meetings or other events are exceptions to the five person rule, so long as once the event in question is over all players return to groups of no more than five (5).

{% hint style="warning" %}
Point 10
{% endhint %}

### War

Before a war can be considered both gangs should try and resolve their issue in a diplomatic way to avoid conflicts, a war should be a LAST RESORT. In order to declare war between gangs/groups both parties MUST agree formally within the state. Wars cannot be initiated over telegrams or with a single individual (non-gang member). Wars can only last a maximum of 7 days before having to be renewed.

An example: If one gang initiates by robbing from another gang this can be intentional or accidental and the other gang declares war then the initial robbing gang will have to either agree to the war or surrender. The surrendering gang has to offer a forfeit to the other gang, which can include compensation with money, materials or weapons. Gang locations or clothing cannot be demanded within a forfeit.

Gangs cannot go around trying to initiate a war to abuse the gain of forfeits, especially on newly formed gangs who can't compete with established gangs. Trying to abuse this will lead to a warning or ban being issues to all involved.

{% hint style="warning" %}
Points 10
{% endhint %}

### Cop Baiting

Do not “cop bait”, going around the sheriff station or alerting law to get them to chase or general harassment of law is prohibited.

This also includes continuously using the same wagon/horses and outfits in crimes. By doing this you are openly and continuously asking for cops to chase you which is a form of cop baiting. Realistic you would want to lay low after committing a crime.

{% hint style="warning" %}
Points 10
{% endhint %}

***

### Gangs

Gangs have a max group size of 6 members this would include 1 leader and 5 members.

No associates of gangs are allowed. If any gang is caught utilizing an associate or outside members for continued criminal activities, the gang is subject to be punished and may result in gang disbandment.

{% hint style="warning" %}
Points 10
{% endhint %}

***

### Torture

You ALWAYS need consent to perform torture roleplay. Each scene must have consent from each party involved and you must also have opened a roleplay ticket with the staff team. Killing someone after torturing them is not permitted. If you torture someone, you automatically give them torture consent for a future scene.

{% hint style="warning" %}
Points 10
{% endhint %}

***

### Serial Killer Policy

Playing a serial or spree killer requires approval via a roleplay ticket with a detailed storyline.

{% hint style="warning" %}
Points 15
{% endhint %}

***

### Duelling Policy

Duels must have serious consequences. Permanent injury or death is expected unless otherwise agreed.

Legal duels require a peace officer to oversee the match.

Illegal duels without law present may result in criminal charges.

{% hint style="warning" %}
Points 10
{% endhint %}

***

### Body Dumping

{% hint style="info" %}
Moving a downed player's body is strongly discouraged, as allowing the injured to be found supports ongoing roleplay.
{% endhint %}

If you do move a body, then the following restrictions apply:

* No water dumping.
* No dumping bodies on the edges of the map.
* Only dump bodies in accessible locations.
* No lingering around locations after disposing of a body you MUST leave the area.
* You should only keep the body for no longer than 15 minutes.

{% hint style="warning" %}
Points 5
{% endhint %}
