# PC Setup Requirements ### Working Microphone You must have a clear, working microphone with which the people around you can understand what you’re saying, and a working headset with which you can hear those around you. {% hint style="warning" %} Points 5 {% endhint %} *** ### External Software Usage of external software to benefit you on RedM servers is strictly prohibited. Failure to comply with this rule will lead to permanent ban with an appeal. External software includes but is not limited to hacked clients, scripts, Auto-Clickers, Crosshairs, Macro Keys and LUA Inject Attempts. Having knowledge of someone who is using external software and not reporting it to developers or administrators is also a bannable offense. Withholding information regarding abuse of external software will be met with the same punishment as those who use the external software themselves. {% hint style="warning" %} Points 75 {% endhint %} *** ### Exploiting Dev Tools Trying to use any built in GTA or RedM dev tools to gain an advantage or give yourself items is strictly prohibited. Failure to comply with this rule will lead to permanent ban with an appeal. Having knowledge of someone who is exploiting or even knowing of an exploit and not reporting it to developers or administrators is also a bannable offense. Withholding information regarding exploits will be met with the same punishment as those who exploited the system themselves. {% hint style="warning" %} Points 75 {% endhint %} *** ### Graphics Mods The use of graphic mods that can aid shooting in the server is strictly prohibited. Failure to comply with this rule will lead to permanent ban with an appeal. This includes but not limited to: * Blood FX (confetti etc.) * No Props / Modified Props * Faster Firing Rate * Bullet Penetration * Bullet Tracers * Clear Water * Sky Mod (Cyan/Always Day) * Reshade Magnifier The only mods acceptable are NVE, QUANTV, Reshade (Color packs ONLY) and gun sound packs. Having knowledge of someone who is using graphic mods to gain an advantage and not reporting it to developers or administrators is also a bannable offense. Withholding information regarding abuse of graphic mods will be met with the same punishment as those who abuse graphic mods themselves. {% hint style="warning" %} Points 75 {% endhint %} *** ### External Voice Platforms Use of Discord, Teamspeak, or any other voice-chat client to communicate or relay information to each other is forbidden when connected to the RedM server. Only the in-game Voice Chat can be used when connected to the RedM server. This rule is also covered within the Metagaming section of the rules as well. {% hint style="warning" %} Points 10 {% endhint %} *** ### Voice Changers & Soundboards You may only use a voice changer if you use the voice changer all the time for a specific character. The voice you pick must be realistic for your character and must not be obnoxious.
