# Roleplay

### Roleplay Quality

Every scene must be roleplayed out regardless of what happens, however roleplay must be realistic and follow as close as possible to how they would play out in the real world.

If you run a business or are in a whitelisted job then you should act professional at all times and follow the SOPs.

If the server has no players online or is very quiet that is not an excuse to carry our poor quality roleplay scenes or to mess around. You should stay in character at all times!

Using excuses that you are used to playing on other servers is not acceptable. You should read up on our rules and follow all guides.

### No Intention to Roleplay (NITRP)

This is an RP server, players are here to RP, not to do Red Dead Online, have RDM and VDM, NITRP is not tolerated and strictly enforced.

### Initiation

Every scene must have some form of initiation before it can progress into anything serious like kidnaping, robbery or shooting.

Initiation is required to engage in combat with another player. When initiating, you must make the player aware of your intent, and who will be assisting you. To initiate you must be AT LEAST within shout voice range, and you must allow the other person to respond to your roleplay with words or actions. A player may not be engaged in a menu or animation for proper initiation to occur.

There are a few special circumstances where the initiation rule is void, a state wagon, trains or a Prison Transport event are known by both parties to follow their own set rules therefore are exempt from the above rule.

### Time Management

Do not get yourself in a situation where you don’t have time to play it out. It is your responsibility to be able to play out a scenario that you are part of.

### Money Over Roleplay

We want our community to be about roleplay together and interaction between our player base. That is why if we catch players prioritising money over roleplay scenes then we will issue a warning.

This means fleeing scenes to avoid being involved or avoiding public areas to avoid player interactions so you can grind money is not allowed.

Included in this is paycheck farming for whitelisted jobs, going AFK for more than 10 minutes in a whitelisted job is not allowed. You will be kicked from the server and issued a warning. Further action will be taken if you continue to paycheck farm.

If you have had an emergency then contact a member of staff immediately so they are aware of why you have gone AFK so no punishment is issued.

### Downed/Injured Status

Organizing a crime or group of people while downed is not allowed. If you are downed then you have been injured and would be primarily focused on that. The only time you should be giving info/instructions is when the law or doctors are trying to communicate with you unless you are unconscious.

Examples:

* Telling someone where a law or gang member is when you are down is NOT allowed.
* Screaming/shouting your in pain or asking for medical help from your friends is allowed.

You may not respawn if you've been advised that law or doctors are on the way to your scene.

### Roleplay you injuries

If you are hurt, you must roleplay your injuries and roleplay them as being hurt realistically.

Use /me or communicate with the doctors so they can treat you accordingly.

Your character wouldn't be able to run if you have a broken leg, use a cane. If doctors say you need to stay in the doctors office for treatment you must RP that.

Don't lie about your type of injury to avoid a trip to the doctor's surgery or a longer treatment process. Doctors need scenarios to roleplay, don't take RP away from them! If you are caught doing this then you may receive a warning or ban.

### No Policing the Police

If you feel you have been mistreated in a law RP situation, do not police the police. Use the proper channels (IE: Reporting said deputy to a higher up in RP). Do not contact an admin unless the officer is clearly breaking a server rule. Consider abuse of power as in character and report it as you see fit in RP. If Police are breaking server rules, make a support ticket in Discord.

### Erotic Roleplay ERP

Any and all ERP must be done privately, you shouldn’t engage in ERP in public where other players can hear and see. All ERP must have consent from all parties involved.
